Lead designer Alcides Santiesteban was hired by Marc-Michaels Interior Design International during his Tenure at SSA Architects to provide residential level architectural floor plans for individual luxury residences located on Levels 32 through 58 of the 115 story, 551 meter high, Doha Tower (Doha Convention Center and Tower), designed by the Chicago-based architecture firm, Murphy/Jahn.
The residential units have been designed to accommodate the predetermined building structure, internal vertical circulation core, and exterior building envelope designed and developed by the tower architect. Lead residential designer Alcides Santiesteban coordinated with his own consultants as well as with the overall project team, including the developer (Qatari Diar) and contractor (Turner International) to develop the residential designs.
To demonstrate the distribution of unit types and areas, a unit distribution matrix spreadsheet and building section diagram identifying leasable floor areas, common areas, gross floor area, percent of each unit type, and other data to assist the developer and contractor with final determination on efficiency and financial considerations.
